As tireless advocates for the rights and well-being of the LGBTIQA+ community, our commitment goes beyond rhetoric to active empowerment. Through purposeful programs, we strive to uplift individuals, creating a society that is not only inclusive but actively affirming. Join us on our mission as we navigate the intricate landscape of respect, equality, and human development, passionately championing the rights of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Transgender Youths across the diverse tapestry of Uganda.

Mission

To promote the health and empowerment of LGBTIQA+ youth in Uganda and ensure their full participation in human development.

To promote healthy and empowered Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgender Youths in Uganda and ensure their full participation in human development. In ending stigma and discrimination, Queer Youth Uganda (QYU) strives to ensure the fundamental involvement of the discriminated and underserved rural and peri-urban LGBT youths who have often been left out of the planning, implementation, development and health and human rights and service provision programs in Uganda. QYU is instrumental in reaching the stigmatized, discriminated, and marginalized rural and peri-urban LGBT populations and communities ensuring improved access to information, human rights awareness, development programs, health services and social economic strengthening in our areas of operation with the major focus on rural areas.
